Werner Botha – Managing Director Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in power generation, industrial systems, and project execution. Werner focuses on plant integration and robust design, applying hands-on experience across energy and waste-to-energy projects to ensure BARA’s technical reliability.
Cornelius Van Tonder – Managing Director A Professional Chemical Engineer with a master’s in Chemical Engineering, Cornelius leads BARA’s technology integration. He specializes in thermochemical processes like gasification and pyrolysis and brings a track record of international research and process engineering expertise to optimize system performance.
Matt Boeger – Managing Director Veteran developer with over 35 years of experience leading large-scale real estate, agriculture, and infrastructure projects. Matt oversees project finance, site selection, and feedstock procurement at BARA, leveraging his background in asset management and FINRA-certified securities to support capital strategy.

45 MW Baseload Power Project from biomass gasification late stage FEED. The project is planned within the Modesto Irrigation District of California. Execution is planned for January 2027.

12.5 MW of Baseload electricity and activated Carbon planned for Port Angeles, WA. Planned for execution in 2027.

30 MW biomass energy project. Feedstock: Sawmill residue & forestry residue. Status: FEED stage, progressing toward FID.
